Terms of service

Effective July 1, 2026

In plain terms

You rent a phone line for a fixed term. We provide it as described, you use it lawfully, and either of us can walk away at the end of the term with nothing owed.

These terms govern your use of HushSMS, operated by HushSMS Communications OÜ (“we”, “us”). By paying an invoice you accept them.

1. What we provide

We lease you the exclusive use of a telephone number for a fixed term, together with delivery of inbound SMS and voice to a web panel and, optionally, to a webhook endpoint you control. The number remains allocated to us or to our upstream carrier throughout; you hold a right of use, not title.

2. No account, no identity

We do not require and will not accept identity documents. An email address, if you provide one, is used solely to deliver your panel link and is deleted with the order. You are responsible for keeping your access token; we cannot recover it, because we do not store a recoverable copy.

3. Your obligations

You must use the line lawfully and in accordance with our acceptable use policy. You must not resell access, use the line to send unsolicited bulk messages, impersonate any person or organisation, or use it in furtherance of fraud. Breach of the acceptable use policy terminates the term immediately and without refund.

4. What we do not promise

We do not warrant that any particular third-party service will accept the number. Acceptance is determined by that third party against criteria it does not publish and changes without notice. Where we publish a compatibility rating we do so in good faith on measured data, and where we mark a service unsupported we will not sell you a line for it. Neither statement is a guarantee.

We do not provide emergency calling. Do not rely on a line from us to reach emergency services.

5. Availability

We target the availability published on our status page and we publish incidents whether or not they reflect well on us. We do not offer a contractual SLA at these prices; what we offer instead is a refund when the service does not do what you bought it for.

6. Term and termination

Terms do not auto-renew. At the end of a term the line stops unless you have renewed it. We may terminate immediately for breach of the acceptable use policy, on a lawful order, or if our upstream carrier withdraws a range — in the last case we will offer a replacement line or a pro-rata refund.

7. Liability

Our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the affected line. We are not liable for consequential loss, including loss of access to any third-party account. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia. Nothing in them removes any statutory consumer right you have where you live.

9. Changes

We may amend these terms for future orders. The version in force for your order is the version published when you paid, and we keep prior versions available on request.
