Can I forward calls and messages to my own phone?
Answer
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Every HushSMS line forwards inbound calls to any number or SIP endpoint you own, and every inbound message is POSTed to a webhook and readable over the REST API as well as landing in the panel. The caller only ever sees the rented number; forwarding does not expose the destination.
The longer version
Forwarding is what makes the separation strategy survivable in practice. Rent one long-term line, put it on every commercial account you already have, forward it, and you stop missing delivery calls while your real number stops appearing in the next breach. Two caveats worth knowing. Your own mobile carrier sees a call arriving, which is fine against data brokers and irrelevant against anyone with subpoena power over that carrier. And message bodies are dropped 24 hours after delivery by default, so if you need a paper trail, extend retention deliberately rather than assuming it is there.
