Can I get a refund?

Answer

Yes, if you ask within 24 hours of activation and the line failed to do what it was sold for. HushSMS refunds in full when a number never provisions, when a service listed as supported does not deliver its code, or when we sold you a line for a service we should have flagged as unsupported. Refunds go back to the asset and address you paid from, at the original invoice's exchange rate.

The longer version

The 24-hour window is short on purpose and the reason is evidential rather than commercial. A delivery failure is visible immediately; a week later it is indistinguishable from a change of mind, and a policy that cannot tell those apart ends up refusing both. Longer terms get a separate route — cancel a six-month or longer line within fourteen days of normal use and it is pro-rata. What is never refundable: services already published as unsupported, use in breach of the acceptable use policy, and a third party banning your account for reasons unrelated to the line working. Carrying the exchange-rate risk between payment and refund is ours, so you get back the value you paid rather than what the asset happens to be worth that morning.
