Verification and compatibility

Can I use a virtual number for WhatsApp?

Answer

Yes. WhatsApp accepts no-KYC mobile numbers, and it is one of the verifications HushSMS handles most often. It has to be a mobile range — landline allocations fall through to the voice-call code, which the panel receives for you. WhatsApp re-verifies periodically, so if the line lapses the account goes with it; buy a twelve-month term if this is an account you intend to keep.

The longer version

WhatsApp treats the number as the account identifier, not as a recovery method bolted onto a username. There is no login you can fall back on, which makes the term length the whole decision rather than a price question. Country choice matters less here than for Google, but not zero: the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Brazil and Mexico perform best in our stock, and an improbable pairing of number country and login location attracts risk scoring on Meta properties. Set a WhatsApp two-step PIN once you are in — it is the only thing standing between your account and the next holder of the number.
